Anniversaries
Join us in congratulating our staff members who celebrated their work anniversaries in June.
Go Big Give Recap
A huge way Hope Harbor operates is on funds from fundraising efforts. While we host our own fundraisers like Serving Up Hope and Hunting for Hope, we also participate in Go Big Give, the 24-hour online giving event by Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way.
For 2023, we increased our goal once again. This year we aimed to raise $15,000. Not only did we meet that goal, we surpassed it!
Thank you to all of our loyal and new supporters! Your generosity will benefit our Emergency Shelter program, Transitional Shelter program, and our Community Assistance program. These programs provide safe and immediate shelter, case management programming with plans of success towards self-sufficiency, basic essential needs (such as food boxes), and so much more.

Harbies
Harbies is our monthly staff get together, where we hold a potluck and spend the hour talking, playing games, and other fun.
June’s theme was Party Animal! We brought animal shaped/themed foods and played “Who Am I?”, where we guessed what animal was taped to our back as we took turns asking yes or no questions. We even had a surprise guest… a lion!
