Emergency Shelter

Our Emergency Shelter is located at 610 W Division and is on the West side of the shelter building. The Emergency Shelter is a short-term solution for those in need of immediate housing.

Those we can serve include:

  • Single women

  • Heterosexual or Homosexual married couples

  • Single-Parent Families (regardless of the parent’s gender)

  • Two-Parent Families (regardless of the parent’s genders)

Overview:

  • This program does not require paperwork prior to check in.

  • Check in is at 7:00pm* and check out is at 8:00am*.

  • Open daily, including holidays.

  • Staff is available 24/7.

  • 26 beds in 5 rooms.

  • Beds/rooms are first come, first serve, but residents can opt to reserve their spot by notifying staff of their return.

  • Stay can be up to 30 days.

  • After a 30-day stay, clients will have to wait for a 30-day* period before returning again. (This makes beds/rooms available for others who are also in need).
