1st Anniversary

A hopeful Start

Our 1st annual back-to-school program, A Hopeful Start, was a success! We’d like to thank every sponsor who signed up to provide school supplies for each of our children!

Kelsey, our Children’s Program Coordinator, set up a beautiful back-to-school party. She made name cards, set up their backpacks filled with supplies on their chairs, and had activities and snacks at each seat.

The kids played games like “Minute to Win It”, bingo, three-legged race, and more. Then they were able to open up their backpacks and see all the supplies for their school year!

Thank you for giving our children, A Hopeful Start.

Harbies

Harbies is our monthly staff get together, where we hold a potluck and spend the hour talking, playing games, and other fun for team bonding and to reduce stress.

August’s theme was “Back to School"! We brought all our favorite school lunches/after school snacks such as pb&j uncrustables, rice krispy bars, hummus with veggies, apples with peanut butter and caramel, puppy chow, capri suns, and more.

We played bingo, a back to school guessing game, and tapple!
