Hope Harbor Rapid Re-Housing Overview
In 2025, Hope Harbor launched its Rapid Re-Housing program with funding from HUD’s Continuum of Care grant program. This program provides short-term rental and transportation assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
What is Rapid Re-Housing?
Rapid Re-Housing helps individuals and families move quickly from homelessness into permanent housing. It provides short-term rental assistance and supportive services to reduce the time people spend without stable housing and to prevent future episodes of homelessness. This program is a key component of a community-wide strategy to address homelessness.
Eligibility
You may qualify for Rapid Re-Housing if you are:
Living on the streets
Staying in a shelter
Staying in a hotel paid for by another agency
Fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence and do not have another safe residence, resources, or support networks needed to secure permanent housing
What to expect after accepted into the program?
Once enrolled, participants work closely with a Case Manager and receive the following support:
Case management
Goal setting and budgeting support
Referrals to local resources
Assistance with rental deposits and monthly rent
Monthly check-in meetings
