Lighthouse Apartments is a proposed new construction 20-unit rental housing project to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or otherwise vulnerable. The Project will be located at 601 W 1st Street in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, adjacent to Hope Harbor’s Service Center. The development will consist of a three-story building featuring four (4) efficiency Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units, nine (9) two-bedroom units, two (2) two-bedroom, and five (5) three-bedroom market rate units. The site will also allow for future expansion of Hope Harbor’s Community Assistance program. Hope Harbor, Inc. is the HOME-ARP applicant and project sponsor.
